Hi there, I’m Jody Wody.

More specifically, Jody Worthington: graphic designer, hula-hooper, doodler, and tea-addict.

I like variety. I have a grand ol’ time designing high-end letterpress wedding invitations, then switching over to an annual report or magazine layout, and finishing the day's work with a logo for a metal band. Not content to stick with one single aesthetic, I simply love thoughtful, clean design (as well as the exploration, sifting, shaping, and refinement that lead up it).

Work.

As a freelancer, I’ve collaborated with non-profits, PR and marketing firms, publishers, photographers, architects, restaurants, bands, and brides-to-be. Current clients include:

826 Valencia
Bay Area Rainbow Symphony
City and County of San Francisco
Free Press Houston
Hanuman Yoga
Harden Foundation
Kimberly Park Communications
Lewis & Partners

Ten Thousand Villages
TQ Photography
San Francisco Child Abuse Prevention Center

As an employee, I’ve worked at: 1) an alternative newsweekly, 3) a foodie magazine, 4) a boutique design firm, 5) the City and County of San Francisco, 6) a startup stationery website. My hometown(s) are as varied as my design preferences. I’ve spent my years in the wonderful cities of Houston, New Orleans, Harrisonburg (Virginia), London, Melbourne, and Den Haag. I’m currently based in San Francisco, less than a mile from Alcatraz. :)
